Datron Davis is a founder and the Chief Executive Officer of Harvest Pointe Community Development Center. He has been active in community outreach since 2006, working to improve living and education conditions for underserved populations, and bridging the gap between business and regional partnership to develop surrounding communities.
LeAnn Davis is a founder and the Executive Director of Harvest Pointe Community Development Center. She has served as a liaison between community endeavors and the business sector since 2006, and works as a domestic missionary to bridge gaps that bring resources into the lives of individuals, families and the community.

Thanksgiving and Christmas meals for families
Every November and December we pack and deliver full holiday meals to households across our neighborhood. The need behind that work is not abstract — it is what the census says about the blocks around 5924 Moran.

Adopt-A-Family Community Christmas Party
Sponsors are matched with a family, and the whole neighborhood gathers for dinner, a train ride and gifts. Last year 46 families and 120 children received more than $50,000 in met needs — bikes, winter coats, household goods and toys — through sponsors who adopted a family by name.
Sponsorship opens each October. A single family can be adopted by one business, one small group, or a few neighbors pooling together.
Sow’n Seeds Academic Latchkey
Our after-school tutoring program serves 38 scholars with homework help, small groups, individualized learning plans that move to mastery, social emotional learning and character development. Certified K–12 teachers lead every session.
I have seen more academic growth with Sow’n Seeds than with any other tutoring program we’ve tried.
My child’s confidence has grown so much since joining Sow’n Seeds. Not only are they improving academically, they’re also learning responsibility, organization, and how to manage their emotions after a long school day.

Summerfest and Gamechangers
Summerfest is our Back 2 School rally and community outreach day: health and wellness screenings, food, games, music, backpacks and school supplies. It reached 1,130 community members last season, and our Back to School drives have served 772 children to date.
Gamechangers Baseball Camp gives 30 youth a full week of coaching, meals and mentorship, ending in a game their families come out to watch.

For the past 20 years our team and partners have used their resources to serve as domestic missionaries, caring for individuals and families in our communities. The HP300 Partnership is the vehicle through which we continue that work.
